ASMR 2013 Indigenous Health Forum (IHF) - Healthy Ageing

In keeping with the theme of the National Scientific Conference, the 2013 IHF will focus on ageing in indigenous communities.
Our speakers will cover a range of topics including the early onset of age related diseases, apparent memory loss in patients with diabetes, sensitivity to dietary changes, identifying increased risk factors and how to prevent the early onset of age related chronic diseases.

The Forum  will explore issues surrounding ageing within the context of broader health and social issues faced by Australian Indigenous people and produce a set of practical, realistic recommendations designed to achieve better health outcomes.

Our Program will include a summary of the report and recommendations of the first ASMR IHF held at the Adelaide Convention Centre in 2012 -  ?Better Health Outcomes for Mums and Bubs?
